Honors Directors
Honors Directors (who either hold doctorates in various academic disciplines or masters degrees in higher education administration) have teaching and advising experience at CUNY and elsewhere. Like Honors Program Advisors, many Honors Directors are also actively engaged in research and scholarship. In their advising roles, Honors Directors work with University Scholars in countless ways. They approve each University Scholar's course roster each semester, advise University Scholars on a choice of major, internships, study abroad, community service, and on graduate and professional school applications. Indeed, Honors Directors counsel and mentor University Scholars on the full range of issues relating to academic work and student life.
